Typically, your clients don’t have enough experience in the market to have a preference and so they rely on you to choose who is going to handle one of the most important transactions of their life. Effective communication allows you to protect your clients and all of us to protect the deal.

Thorough title searches

All of our searches are done in house by our own team so that we know that every search is done to our exacting standards. We wouldn’t farm out our own personal searches, and we won’t farm our yours either. This way, we know that zero steps are skipped or corners cut in making sure that your client’s title has no surprises down the road. After all, the whole goal is that when it’s closed, it’s closed.

We understand that the closing table can sometimes be the end of a long, even stressful, process. We strive to maintain a laid-back environment that is warm and welcoming. Even if behind the scenes wasn’t always smooth sailing – and sometimes we all know it isn’t – our clients all deserve to have a calm and stress-free closing so they can leave feeling comfortable in the transaction.

Legal review of all transactions

Every transaction with Appalachian Title is reviewed by our in house attorneys multiple times – during the search phase, following the commitment while everything is being cleared for closing, and again immediately before Closing. Why? To ensure that everything is accurate, of course. There is no one who hates surprises more than us, so we work really hard to make sure there aren’t any. Again, closed should mean closed.
